Like so many startups, as we gained perspective, we found a need to shift directions and find singular focus. Our CEO saw a need to clarify a difference between our core brand, Thor Technology, associated with Thor Tokens —and our business payments solution, which we came to call Odin. Odin would be the product brand directed at business', and the Thor brand was to be the wallet app contractors would use to receive payments, sign up for affordable healthcare, and retirement savings.
After engaging with and getting feedback from companies who we thought would most benefit from our product, we took the feedback to heart and pivoted our product accordingly. Most notably, we iterated over several weeks with fast-growing San Francisco startup
Yoshi, inc, who has a fleet of contractors delivering gas and automotive services, to build a custom payments solution that would take the pain out of their payroll process.
